Role Description

  • This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Manager at Evans Industries Limited in Lagos.
  • The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, developing and implementing growth strategies, and conducting market research.

Responsibilities

  • The Business Development manager is responsible for the achievement and delivery of overall sales and distribution objectives for the company within the assigned territory.
  • Contacting potential clients to establish rapport and arrange meetings.
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
  • Researching organisations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
  • Finding and developing new markets and improving sales.
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • At least 3 years of experience in Sales and Distribution Management
  • Business Development, Sales, and Marketing skills
  • Experience in identifying new business opportunities and client relationship management
  • Ability to develop and implement growth strategies
  • Market research and analysis skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
