Position Title: HR Project Assistant
Department: Human Resources
Duration: 2 Weeks (Temporary Engagement)
Location: Abuja (may involve travel)
Compensation: ₦150,000 (for the full engagement period)
Work Schedule: May include extended hours and work during holiday periods
Role Purpose
The Short-Term HR Assistant will support the Principal Consultant and Recruitment Team in executing recruitment activities and performing general HR administrative duties during a high-volume hiring period. This temporary role is designed to provide hands-on operational support to ensure smooth and timely completion of recruitment and HR tasks.
Key Responsibilities
A. Recruitment Support
- Assist in sourcing, screening, and shortlisting candidates for various roles.
- Schedule interviews, assessments, and follow-up communications with candidates.
- Collate candidate information, prepare CV summaries, and update recruitment trackers.
- Assist in conducting reference checks and verifying candidate documentation.
- Support in organizing onsite or virtual interviews as required.
B. HR Administrative Duties
- Maintain organized digital and physical HR files during the engagement period.
- Support the preparation of onboarding documents and recruitment reports.
- Assist with HR correspondence, documentation, and follow-up tasks.
- Provide logistical support for HR meetings, training sessions, or field activities.
C. Fieldwork & Travel
- Participate in off-site recruitment drives or client meetings as needed.
- May be required to travel within or outside Abuja for short periods (if required by the project).
D. Holiday/Extended Work Hours
- Role may require working into holiday periods or extended hours to meet deliverables and recruitment timelines.
Requirements
Education & Experience
- Minimum of OND/HND/Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2 years experience in HR, recruitment, or administrative support.
- Experience in volume recruitment or HR consulting is an added advantage.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Professional demeanor and ability to represent the HR team effectively.

Reporting Line
Reports directly to the HR Consultant / Recruitment Lead for the duration of the engagement
