Job Summary:

The Lounge Bar Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the lounge and bar, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining high standards of hospitality, and driving profitability. The role involves supervising staff, managing inventory, implementing marketing strategies, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.


Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

Oversee daily bar and lounge operations to ensure smooth service and excellent customer experience.

Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, and overall presentation of the lounge area.

Monitor staff performance and ensure adherence to company policies and standards.

Customer Service:

Ensure guests receive prompt, courteous, and professional service.

Handle customer feedback, complaints, and special requests effectively.

Foster a welcoming and engaging atmosphere to encourage repeat patronage.

Staff Supervision:

Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise bartenders, waiters, and support staff.

Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and motivation.

Manage shift schedules to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours.

Inventory & Financial Management:

Manage bar stock, ordering, and inventory control to minimize waste and shortages.

Monitor daily sales and expenses to ensure profitability within budget limits.

Prepare and submit operational and financial reports to management.

Marketing & Promotion:

Collaborate with management to develop and implement promotional events and themed nights.

Drive customer engagement through social media and partnership activities.

Analyze customer preferences to tailor offerings and promotions.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure the lounge complies with all health, safety, and liquor licensing regulations.

Conduct regular inspections to maintain hygiene and safety standards.


Qualifications and Experience:

Minimum of HND/B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.

3–5 years of proven experience managing a bar, lounge, or hospitality establishment.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Proficiency in basic accounting and POS systems.

Knowledge of mixology and beverage trends is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₦150,000.00 per month
