Job Summary

The Lead Copywriter is more than a wordsmith. You're a creator, a storyteller, and a key player in shaping our brand's voice. You'll work with a collaborative team, getting your hands dirty to ensure our messaging is compelling, relevant, and authentic. As a Copywriter, you'll craft content that resonates with our audience across all touchpoints, from digital campaigns and social media to product descriptions and long-form storytelling. We're looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and is passionate about using words to build real connections.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear, engaging, and persuasive copy across a range of formats: social media posts, website content, email campaigns, product descriptions, video scripts, and ads.
  • Work alongside designers, marketers, and product teams to ensure messaging aligns with the brand's identity and marketing goals.
  • Craft stories that not only engage but also inspire, building a deeper connection with our audience and enhancing brand loyalty.
  • Optimise content for SEO and conversion, ensuring everything is both compelling and discoverable.
  • Create taglines, slogans, and brand messaging that clearly define the company's place in the market.
  • Research customer pain points, trends, and competitor messaging to keep content fresh, relevant, and impactful.
  • Maintain consistent tone and style across all the company's communications, adapting where necessary for different platforms and audiences.
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure quality, clarity, and consistency.
  • Use A/B testing to optimise content and ensure maximum impact.
  • Support internal communications, pitch decks, and investor messaging as needed.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years of experience in copywriting, ideally in an agency, eCommerce, or tech-driven environment, and a portfolio that shows off your creative versatility.
  • You're not just a writer; you're a creator who loves bringing ideas to life.
