Role Overview:

We are seeking a creative and strategic Content, Copywriter & Social Media Manager to develop, execute, and manage our brand's online voice and presence. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller who can write compelling copy, craft engaging content strategies, and manage social media platforms to grow engagement, drive conversions, and strengthen brand identity.

Key Responsibilities:Content Creation & Strategy

  • Develop and execute a content calendar aligned with marketing goals and campaigns.
  • Research industry trends and customer insights to create relevant and impactful content.
  • Write and edit blog posts, website copy, newsletters, case studies, and press releases.
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other team members to produce multimedia content (videos, infographics, etc.).

Copywriting

  • Create persuasive and brand-aligned copy for ads, landing pages, product descriptions, and promotional materials.
  • Ensure tone, messaging, and brand voice consistency across all platforms.
  • Optimize copy for SEO, readability, and conversion.
  • Craft catchy taglines, CTAs, and headlines that enhance audience engagement.

Social Media Management

  • Plan, create, and schedule daily posts across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Develop and manage paid social campaigns to increase reach and engagement.
  • Monitor social media trends, competitors, and industry conversations to inform strategy.
  • Engage with audiences by responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely, brand-consistent manner.
  • Track performance analytics and prepare monthly reports on growth, engagement, and ROI.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in content creation, copywriting, or social media management.
  • Proven portfolio showcasing strong writing and campaign results.
  • Excellent command of English (grammar, tone, storytelling).
  • Proficiency with tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Hootsuite, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of SEO, Google Analytics, and social media advertising.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and creativity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in managing influencer or brand ambassador collaborations.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Ability to analyze data and translate insights into content strategy.
  • Knowledge of short-form video trends (Reels, TikTok).

KPIs / Success Metrics:

  • Growth in social media followers and engagement rate.
  • Website traffic and content-driven lead generation.
  • Ad performance (CTR, conversions).
  • Content publishing consistency and brand voice alignment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₦70,000.00 per month
