4. Job Summary

We are hiring a
QA Engineer (Contract)
to join our Product & Development team. This role is central to maintaining and improving the quality, reliability, and performance of our digital products. You'll be responsible for designing and executing manual and automated tests, validating APIs, performing performance benchmarking, and collaborating across the development lifecycle to ensure each product release is stable and user-ready. This contract role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and has a strong passion for quality assurance.

5. Role Responsibilities

  • Review product requirements and contribute to creating detailed test cases and acceptance criteria.
  • Design and execute manual and automated tests for functional, regression, UI/UX, and exploratory testing.
  • Conduct API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger; automate where possible.
  • Perform load and performance testing using tools such as JMeter.
  • Maintain QA dashboards, test coverage metrics, and defect tracking via Azure DevOps.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams during sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Lead sprint sign-offs and support UAT coordination with Product Managers and users.
  • Advocate for QA best practices and identify continuous improvement opportunities.

6. Qualifications

  • Education
    : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience
    : Minimum of 2–3 years in a QA Engineer or Software Tester role.
  • Skills
    :
  • Proficient in manual and automated testing (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
  • Experience with REST API testing using Postman, Swagger, etc.
  • Familiarity with performance testing (JMeter, Gatling).
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Azure DevOps, Jenkins.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Certifications
    : QA certification is a plus. Mastery of Azure DevOps is also an advantage.
