Sales and Marketing Manager

Our client in the hospitality industry is seeking a proactive, versatile, and energetic Sales & Marketing Manager to lead its sales operations and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will work closely with the General Manager to increase revenue, penetrate new markets, strengthen customer relationships, and uphold the brand promise.
Job Summary
The Sales & Marketing Manager will oversee the entire sales and marketing team, identify and pursue high-value business opportunities, and ensure the consistent delivery of top-quality service. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in hospitality sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Report directly to the General Manager while proactively identifying transient and group business opportunities.
- Lead and manage the sales & marketing team to execute strategies that drive revenue and ensure business continuity.
- Organize and participate in site visits; complete all related follow-up actions and documentation.
- Actively upsell business opportunities to maximize revenue; achieve individual and team revenue targets.
- Sell, support, and advise on all event-related activities.
- Coordinate, promote, and grow the property's offerings and attractions.
- Increase brand awareness across all communication platforms.
- Create and maintain client lists; conduct surveys to identify potential guests.
- Engage prospective clients through calls or meetings to assess their needs.
- Ensure smooth turnover of business for timely service delivery and enhanced guest satisfaction.
- Prepare and present sales proposals that highlight the property's best features and value.
- Provide clients with service options, pricing details, and discounts when applicable.
- Assist clients in selecting services suited to their specifications.
- Oversee booking and reservation processes to ensure proper space allocation.
- Collaborate with operational staff to guarantee memorable guest experiences.
- Monitor guest service quality to maintain excellent standards.
- Conduct price negotiations to secure favorable agreements for both the business and guests.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, gather feedback, and explore future business opportunities.
- Set annual budgets and implement effective strategies to meet revenue targets.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel & Restaurant Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in Sales & Marketing or a similar professional area.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a managerial role with strong sales analytics capabilities.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated with a track record of achieving and exceeding goals.
- A proactive, "Can-Do" attitude.
- Proven history of surpassing sales targets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools.
