Community & Growth Lead

We are looking for a Community & Growth Lead to join our team in Lagos. This is a hybrid role for a builder—someone who understands that growth is an active, rigorous pursuit. We need a professional who thinks out of the box and is ready to do the "heavy lifting" required to scale a vision.

Job descriptions & requirementsResponsibilities:
- Strategic Growth: Design and execute strategies to expand our footprint. This involves aggressive outreach and identifying untraditional pathways to market.
- Partnership Leadership: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with key stakeholders, specifically educational institutions and corporate partners.
- Community Management: Nurture our ecosystem of students and professionals, ensuring they feel supported, engaged, and value-driven.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a primary representative of Uptick Talent, utilising strong relationship skills to manage complex partnerships.
Requirements:
- Strong Relationship Skills: You have the natural ability to create relationships and lead partnerships. You are comfortable in rooms with student leaders and corporate executives alike.
- Execution Focus: You do not shy away from the work. You are self-driven, resilient, and can operate with minimal supervision.
- Strategic Thinking: You can see the big picture of how community engagement feeds into business growth.
- Mission Alignment: You care deeply about education and human capital development in Africa.
