Job Type: Permanent / Full Time

Location: Lagos (On-site)

Key Responsibilities

  • Use data-driven storytelling to inform decisions, measure campaign impact, and optimise strategies for success.
  • Collaborate with product, technology, sales, CX, and marketing teams to understand product features and communicate them compellingly to target customers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure products are effectively launched, positioned, and promoted to drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
  • Keep customers updated about new products or feature releases.
  • Leverage product channels such as push notifications, email, in-app messages, and SMS to communicate with customers.
  • Create automated journey messages to guide customers effectively through the marketing funnel.
  • Use analytics tools to understand customer behaviour and make strategic recommendations.
  • Monitor market trends, competition, and customer feedback to identify opportunities and threats, and propose improvements to product and marketing strategy.

RequirementsQualifications

  • 1st degree in Marketing, Technology, or a business-related discipline.

Work Experience

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of planning and executing successful product launches.
  • Conversant with all five milestones of the marketing funnel.

Required Competencies

  • Understanding of fintech industry dynamics.
  • Curiosity and a strong learning mindset.
  • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and apply problem-solving skills to business and technical challenges.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Excellent written communication with attention to tone, grammar, and clarity.
  • Proficiency in tools such as AppsFlyer, Google Analytics (GA4), Mixpanel, Netcore, Google Play Console, and Apple Store Console.
  • Strong analytical ability using spreadsheet tools.
  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Empathy and understanding of customer pain points.
  • Strong product knowledge, analytical thinking, and familiarity with product marketing best practices.
  • Persistence and grit.
