Company Overview:

bitMARTe is a fast-growing e-commerce company committed to providing seamless online buying and selling experiences. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented female Accountant to join our finance team.

Job Summary:

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial operations, ensuring accuracy in all financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The ideal candidate is analytical, proactive, and experienced in handling end-to-end accounting functions in a structured organization.

Key Responsibilities:


• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations for payment gateway providers.


• Record all bookkeeping entries and journal postings accurately.


• Generate weekly and monthly management cost and revenue reports.


• Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies.


• Process merchant, 3PL, vendor, and payroll payments.


• Handle refunds and chargebacks to buyers.


• Prepare financial reports (daily, weekly, monthly).


• Ensure remittances to statutory bodies (WHT, VAT, etc.) are done promptly.


• Support yearly audits and assist with inventory audits at hubs.


• Provide financial resolutions and support to merchants and buyers.


• Suggest improvements for accounting processes and efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree is an advantage).


• Minimum of 7–8 years of relevant accounting or finance experience.


• Professional certification (ICAN, ACA, ACCA, or CFA) is required.


• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.


• Experience using accounting software (e.g., SAGE).


• Strong financial analysis, reporting, and data interpretation skills.


• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
