. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic partnerships, and expanding the company's footprint across media, consultancy, and healthcare-focused projects.

This role requires a hands-on, target-oriented professional with strong relationship management skills and the ability to convert opportunities into measurable business outcomes. The Business Development Manager will report directly to the CEO and work closely with internal teams to execute growth initiatives.

Job Summary

The Business Development Manager will lead client acquisition and revenue generation efforts across media, consultancy, and healthcare communication services. The role involves identifying new business opportunities, managing key client relationships, and supporting the development and rollout of healthcare-related communication, training, and consultancy offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities across media and healthcare communication projects.
  • Drive revenue growth through strategic sales initiatives, partnerships, and client acquisition.
  • Build and manage strong relationships with corporate clients, healthcare organisations, NGOs, public institutions, and partners.
  • Develop proposals, pitch decks, and presentations tailored to client needs.
  • Lead negotiations and manage contract closures in line with company targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver customized media and healthcare communication solutions.
  • Monitor market trends within media and healthcare sectors to identify growth opportunities.
  • Support the development and commercialization of healthcare-focused offerings, including training programmes, publications, campaigns, and consultancy services.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and provide regular performance and revenue reports to the CEO.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • BSc or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Communication, Public Health, Health Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of
    5 years' experience
    in business development, sales, or commercial roles.
  • Healthcare sector exposure is required
    (e.g. hospitals, pharma, HMOs, NGOs, health projects, or healthcare communications).
  • Experience in media, communications, consultancy, or service-based selling is a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with a hands-on approach.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities in a fast-paced environment.
