Company Description Impact in Business Recruitment are currently working with an established client organisation based in Lagos, who are a well-known participant in the structured trade and export finance sector. The client's principal business involves actively originating, financing and executing oil and gas contracts and investments. Job Description The successful candidate will be part of a team which is responsible for deal origination, appraisal and execution support ranging from fund raising, advisory and deal structuring mandates primarily within the African oil and gas markets Qualifications Key Competencies Required:Confident in self-ability to winStrong in financial modelling; reporting and interpretationSound judgement; confident in presenting recommendationsWorld class professional with passion for AfricaA good listener, with strong communication skills (local and international languages are an advantage)Additional Competencies:Bachelors degree (or the equivalent) in either Accounting, Finance, Economics or any related subjectBetween 3-5 years of experience in corporate finance, financial modelling, or experience from a boutique advisory business / full-service investment bankRelevant exposure to any/all: Balance-sheet forecastingCompany valuationsM&A; both buy-side and sell-side as well as risk managementOil and gas deal structuring; structured trade (and possibly export) financeFund raising across the African sub-continentDirect Foreign Investments (DFIs)Corporate restructuring; Debt Financing etc.  Additional Information All applicants will be considered for this opportunity without attention to race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status.
