Position Overview

The Business Risk & Control Manager will support the company's Leadership in managing operational risk. You will provide risk-based advice to the Finance leadership, BOD, and Executive Team regarding the Internal Control Framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Audit Planning: Design and perform the full annual business audit plan to mitigate risks and ensure financial reliability.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify potential risks across various business functions.
  • Control Management: Define control procedures and perform regular testing to assess effectiveness.
  • Strategic Reporting: Communicate risk findings to various levels of the organization and propose improvements to the framework.
  • Crisis Management: Contribute to incident response plans and mitigate risks during critical incidents.

Requirements

  • Education: HND or Degree in Accounting. ICAN, ACA, or ACCA qualification is mandatory.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in an audit leadership position.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Financial Auditing, Risk Management, and Systems Auditing.
  • Technology: Advanced skills in MS Office, Accounting Software, and ERPs.
