Communications Manager


Description


This role manages the creation and implementation of modern communication strategies to articulate the company's strategic narrative, drive engagement, and showcase innovation, technology, and performance across various channels. The position requires strong storytelling skills to merge technical content with global trends in the energy industry, crafting compelling content for diverse audiences. The role also involves planning integrated campaigns across different communication areas.


Job Responsibilities

  • Developing, executing, and managing global communications strategies
  • Leading major initiatives and campaigns, including thought leadership, product launches, brand campaigns, technology and innovation stories, culture, and sustainability
  • Managing and enhancing communication channels across paid, earned, shared, and owned platforms
  • Integrating editorial calendar planning with various teams
  • Measuring communication effectiveness, including open rates and critical metrics
  • Creating engaging content that aligns with the brand and resonates with the audience
  • Managing and mentoring junior Communication Specialists

Requirements & Competencies

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, journalism, English, or related field
  • 5+ years experience as a Communication Specialist/Manager
  • Knowledge of media ethics, public speaking, and organizational representation
  • Proficiency in various social media platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram)
  • Experience with web content management systems; Advertising or Marketing background is a plus
