Position Overview:

  • The Safety Officer will also manage all communications with government regulators regarding safety issues and ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Inspection: Regularly inspect project sites to ensure a hazard-free environment.
  • Safety Plan Assessment: Assess and approve contractors' and subcontractors' safety plans.
  • Equipment Verification: Verify the quality and safety of on-site tools and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of HND in related engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum of 5 years in relevant industries such as construction, power, or other related sectors.
  • Professional certification in safety management or related field will be an added advantage.
  • Proven experience in safety management and compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment, and emergency response.

Requirements:

  • Ability to lead a team and promote a culture of safety.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
