- The Operations Assistant will work closely with the Conference Director to support the planning, coordination, and execution of the upcoming agriculture conference.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Conference Director in coordinating all aspects of conference planning, including logistics, operations, and program management.
- Support the development and implementation of the conference schedule, ensuring timely communication with speakers, panellists, and vendors.
- Coordinate logistics, including venue setup, transportation, accommodation, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
- Manage and track conference materials, including invitations, badges, and promotional items.
- Liaise with vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery and setup of all conference-related services.
- Assist in managing the registration process, including tracking attendee information and ensuring accurate records.
- Monitor and respond to inquiries related to the conference, providing excellent customer service to attendees and stakeholders.
- Support on-site event management, including troubleshooting any issues that arise and ensuring smooth operations during the conference.
- Assist in post-event evaluations, gathering feedback, and preparing reports on the conference's success.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in event planning, logistics, or operations management is preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, PowerPoint and event management software.
- Flexibility to work extended hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
