Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Field Sales (Modern trade) to join our team at Blakskill Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by promoting and selling high-quality cashew products across their designated territories.

Sales and Revenue Generation
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
  • Identify new sales opportunities within assigned territories and develop plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
  • Ensure product availability in retail outlets, supermarkets, or distributor warehouses to meet customer demands.
Market Expansion & Promotions
  • Expand the customer base by onboarding new distributors, retailers, or other clients through strategic partnerships and promotions.
  • Open new sales territories and penetrate underserved markets to increase revenue streams.
  • Conduct regular store visits to identify new opportunities and execute promotional activities such as product sampling or discounts.
Customer Relationship Management
  • Built and maintain strong relationships with existing stores and key accounts through effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Provide after-sales support to optimize sales performance and improve customer satisfaction.
Merchandising and Brand Visibility
  • Ensure proper placement and display of products in stores are done by in-store merchandisers to maximize visibility and sales.
  • Participate in promotional campaigns and in-store branding/activations to create brand awareness and drive sales.
Reporting and Analysis
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, sales target breakdown, and market feedback to inform business decisions.
  • Analyze sales performance and recommend strategies for improvement to optimize sales growth.
Territory Management
  • Manage a designated sales territory effectively, ensuring timely coverage and optimized resource utilization.
  • Plan daily/weekly routes to maximize time and effort, while ensuring adequate territory coverage.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of FMCG experience, preferably in modern market sales.
  • Proven residency in Abuja (or the specific location) to ensure a strong understanding of local terrains.
