Job Description

The administrative officer will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our organization. This includes providing clerical and administrative support, managing company documents and databases, and maintaining confidentiality and security of files.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage office supplies, take inventory, order supplies, and work with vendors.
  • Schedule meetings and appointments, arrange travel and accommodations, and greet visitors.
  • Prepare reports on expenses and budgets, create presentations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security standards, monitor staff performance, and handle disciplinary issues.
  • Collaborate with the human resources department on staff recruitment and training, and operate office equipment effectively.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A first degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics from a reputable institution.
  • Above-average software skills in Microsoft Office applications.
  • At least 3 years post-qualification experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical skills, with excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint, with ability to work with timelines and meet deadlines.
