We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at HEIRS LIFE ASSURANCE LIMITED. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in driving the growth and success of our company by identifying new sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, and achieving sales targets.

About the Role:

  • You will be responsible for generating new sales, managing existing customer relationships, and developing strategies to increase sales revenue.
  • You will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • You will be required to stay up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities and improve sales performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Generation: Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media.
  2. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with customers by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  3. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our products or services, and effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  4. Sales Presentations: Conduct presentations and demonstrations of products or services to potential clients.
  5. Negotiation: Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits.
  6. Sales Targets: Meet or exceed sales targets and objectives set by the company.
  7. Customer Support: Provide post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  8. Market Research: Keep up-to-date with market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify new opportunities.
  9. Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales performance, and report to the Sales Manager.
  10. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive approach to sales.

Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in sales, particularly in insurance, is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • A strong focus on providing excellent customer service.
  • Proficiency in using various sales techniques and strategies.
  • The ability to handle objections and resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • The ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • A high level of self-motivation and a goal-oriented mindset.
