Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead our sales efforts and develop strategies to drive revenue growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the company's objectives;
  • Overseeing and evaluating market research and adjusting our marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions;
  • Identifying and targeting new business opportunities to expand market share;
  • Analyzing market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform decision-making;

Team Management

The Sales Director will also be responsible for:

  • Recruiting, mentoring, and managing a dynamic sales team;
  • Setting clear performance goals and monitoring individual and team performance;
  • Providing ongoing training and professional development for the sales team.

Customer Relationship Management

The Sales Director will build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, acting as the primary point of contact for high-value accounts and strategic negotiations. They will ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction.

Sales Operations

The Sales Director will be responsible for developing pricing strategies and ensuring profitability. They will oversee sales forecasting, budgeting, and reporting activities, and develop sales/marketing operating budgets.

Collaboration

The Sales Director will work closely with the marketing team to align campaigns and lead generation efforts. They will collaborate with the operations and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery, and liaise with the finance department to ensure alignment on revenue targets and profitability.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting

The Sales Director will track sales metrics and prepare detailed performance reports for senior management. They will identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions to meet objectives.
