Senior Digital Technology Sales Specialist

To succeed in this role, you'll work closely with clients to understand their needs, present tailored solutions, and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing. This involves identifying and targeting new business opportunities, developing and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, and engaging with potential clients through direct outreach, cold calling, networking events, and partnerships.
As a sales professional with experience in selling complex IT services and managing long-term client relationships, you'll build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their managed IT service needs. You'll conduct in-depth discovery meetings to understand client requirements, business challenges, and technology needs, and present customized solutions that align with client objectives, addressing pain points such as IT downtime, security vulnerabilities, and scalability issues.
You'll develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand the client base for Managed IT Services, collaborating with internal teams (technical, solutions architecture, and operations) to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. You'll prepare and present detailed proposals, RFPs, and pricing options to potential clients, ensuring alignment with their business goals and IT needs.
This role requires a strong understanding of managed IT services, including network management, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure. You'll stay updated on emerging technologies and market trends to provide clients with the most relevant and competitive solutions, and act as a subject matter expert (SME) during client engagements, providing insights into how managed IT services can address their business challenges.
You'll manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation through to closing, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting, using CRM tools (such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or Microsoft Dynamics) to track sales activities, manage client interactions, and update pipeline information. You'll provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior management.
To be successful in this role, you'll need a bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Sales, or a related field, and 3-5 years of experience in IT sales, preferably with a focus on managed IT services, cloud computing, or IT consulting. You'll have a proven track record in achieving or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment, and excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a consultative approach to selling. You'll also need proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot) for sales tracking and reporting.
