We are seeking a highly skilled Retail Operations Associate to join our team at Kitchessence. As a key member of our sales floor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring seamless transaction processing.

Job Description:
  • Manage all transactions with customers accurately and efficiently using cash registers and POS systems.
  • Scan goods and verify pricing accuracy to maintain high-quality service standards.
  • Process payments in cash or credit, issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets as needed.
  • Redeem stamps and coupons, cross-sell products, and introduce new offerings to customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints, provide guidance, and offer relevant information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Greet customers upon entry or departure from the store, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor transactions on balance sheets, reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Bag, box, or gift-wrap packages as required, handling merchandise returns and exchanges efficiently.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a Retail Cashier or in a similar sales role.
  • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with electronic equipment, including cash registers and POS systems.
  • Strong math skills and attention to detail for accurate transactions.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Estimated Salary:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $45,000-$55,000, depending on location and experience. This figure includes base pay, benefits, and other compensation. We offer competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package to ensure your success and well-being.
