Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for expanding our market presence in West Africa, driving sales, and developing strategic partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Expansion: Identify and develop new regional markets, promoting IVD (especially Hematology) products to potential distribution channels, healthcare providers, and end-users across Italy.
  • Agent and Channel Management: Lead and support regional agents and distributors, ensuring they achieve their sales targets and are aligned with company goals.
  • Market Intelligence: Collect and analyze in-depth market data, including competitor activities, pricing trends, and customer feedback, to shape marketing strategies. Attend and represent the company at relevant international exhibitions and conferences.
  • Sales Achievement: Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets in the assigned region, focusing on market penetration and brand visibility.
  • Customer Needs & Solutions: Analyze the unique needs of the local market and propose tailored solutions to address them, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
  • KOL & Lab Development: Build and foster relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), reference labs, and other industry influencers to drive product adoption and brand loyalty.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Develop and execute strategic plans for new product introductions, promotions, and market expansion initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the IVD industry, with a proven track record in business development, particularly in hematology or related diagnostic fields.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the IVD market in Nigeria, including key players, market trends, regulations, and customer needs.
  • Business Development Skills: Expertise in developing and executing sales strategies that drive market growth and product adoption.
  • Relationship Building: Demonstrated success in building strong, long-lasting relationships with distributors, healthcare professionals, and KOLs.
  • Leadership Ability: Proven experience in leading teams, driving sales performance, and achieving business goals.
  • Self-Motivation & Results-Oriented: High self-motivation, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes. Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Language Skills: Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is ₦45,000,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
