Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Manager - Consumer Goods Expert to join our team at Tricare pharmaceuticals Nigeria Limited.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain process, from selecting carriers and negotiating contracts and rates to planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Selecting and managing carriers to ensure efficient and cost-effective delivery of goods
  • Negotiating contracts and rates with suppliers and carriers
  • Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries to meet customer demands
  • Supervising logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services teams
  • Organizing warehouse operations, labeling goods, plotting routes, and processing shipments
  • Responding to any issues or complaints from customers or stakeholders
  • Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers to optimize supply chain performance
  • Collaborating with other departments to incorporate logistics into company procedures and operations
  • Evaluating budgets and expenditures to ensure efficient use of resources
  • Updating and evaluating metrics to assess performance and implement enhancements
  • Ensuring all operations adhere to laws, guidelines, and ISO requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, supply chain, or relevant field
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of the consumer goods industry
  • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Estimated Salary: ₦800,000 - ₦1,200,000 per annum
