About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Sales Representative to promote and sell our premium plantain chips. This role is ideal for a self-motivated individual who can identify new sales opportunities, maintain relationships with clients, and help expand our market presence while achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote and sell plantain chips to retailers, wholesalers, supermarkets, and other potential clients.
  • Identify new markets and business opportunities to grow the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business.
  • Conduct regular sales visits to customers and potential clients.
  • Provide product samples and educate clients about the quality and uniqueness of the plantain chips.
  • Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms with customers.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to stay ahead of industry developments.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports, forecasts, and performance data to management.
  • Collaborate with the production and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of orders.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, exhibitions, and promotional events.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or snack food industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated and goal-driven, with a strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Good understanding of the sales process and customer needs.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and use data to make informed decisions.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel frequently.
  • Basic computer literacy for maintaining records and preparing reports.
About the Salary

The estimated salary range for this role is $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
