Job Description:

  • Assist the Country Director in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the organization.
  • Develop and implement financial management systems, ensuring accurate records and timely reporting.
  • Prepare balance sheets, process invoices, and record accounts payable and receivable.
  • Update internal systems with financial data, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements, track bank deposits and payments, and assist with budget preparation.
  • Implement financial policies, manage donor funds, and review financial transactions.
  • Evaluate and report the financial situation of the organization and loan programs.
  • Contribute to the development, monitoring, and management of program and projects budgets.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Finance Officer or similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures.
  • Experience using financial software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and excellent analytical and numerical skills.
  • Diplomacy, negotiation, and networking skills, with ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Willingness to live and work in challenging conditions, with reactivity, anticipation, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
