Job Title: Estate Property Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estate Property Manager to join our team at Pruvia Integrated Ltd.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of our estate, ensuring that all aspects of property maintenance, safety, and security are met.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise the maintenance, gardening, and domestic teams to ensure high standards are maintained.
  • Liaise with the Line Manager to ensure jobs are completed as required.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of all estate activities, including routine domestic duties and general cleanliness.
  • Ensure the safety and security of the estate, including key holder duties and liaising with the security team.
  • Provide expert advice and knowledge on all aspects of estate management.
  • Carry out annual maintenance programs to maintain the estate to the required standard.
  • Ensure essential repairs and replacements are carried out as part of the maintenance program.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation associated with work reports.
  • Report any problems or failures that may impact the estate and its visitors, clients, or customers to the Line Manager.
  • Meet targets and contribute to those of the estate team as a whole.
  • Contribute towards the efficient running of the estate team.
  • Adhere to all estate policies and procedures.
  • Identify hazards and defects to ensure compliance with applicable codes, laws, working practices, and health and safety.
  • Supervise, manage, and direct the overall performance of the estate team.
  • Set an example for estate team members in terms of commitment, work ethic, habits, and personal character.
  • Responsibly use resources and control expenses to operate within budgetary controls.
  • Act as a property manager and resolve any issues that arise with properties.
  • Represent the sellers in negotiation with prospective buyers;
  • Vet prospective tenants by collecting references and carrying out credit checks;
  • Collect information about a property and arrange for photographs to be taken;
  • Evaluate properties to ensure they meet legal and health and safety requirements, e.g., gas safety certificates;
  • Advise clients and assist buyers in deciding what they want to purchase.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or Public Administration;
  • 3-5 years of experience as an Estate Manager;
  • Strong people skills;
  • Keen attention to detail;
  • Good leadership and management skills;
  • Extensive knowledge of spreadsheets and calculation software to track payroll, schedules, and space management.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is 130,000 - 150,000 per annum.

Location: Ikeja, Lagos.
