Job Description
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing teams, ensuring efficient service delivery, and maintaining high-quality standards. You will be responsible for:
* Leading and managing a team of technicians to deliver high-quality service to customers
* Collaborating with the customer relations team to receive and process service requests
* Supervising and monitoring the activities of the workshop team, ensuring adherence to company policies and safety regulations
* Maintaining regular communication with the customer relations officer to keep them updated on the progress of customer vehicles
* Conducting final inspections of vehicle repairs before delivery
* Handling the pick-up and delivery of customer vehicles and performing other official assignments
* Coordinating test drives of vehicles both before and after repairs
* Working closely with the vendor manager to ensure the availability of necessary parts and verify their quality upon delivery
* Assisting in the recruitment and training of technicians and other contractors, evaluating their performance, and providing constructive feedback for skill enhancement
* Managing external contractors like painters, panel beaters, and electricians, ensuring that their work aligns with company standards
* Implementing improvements to enhance operational efficiency and maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment
* Fostering a collaborative team culture that promotes open communication, teamwork, and a strong customer-focused mindset

Requirements
* OND, HND, B.Sc in a relevant field
* Proven 6-7 years of experience as an Automobile Workshop Manager
* Valid driver's license
* Ability to estimate labor and material costs and manage procurement
* Proficiency in maintaining stock records and preparing reports
* Proficiency in the use of computerized diagnostic tools and scanners
* Comprehensive knowledge of standard workshop methods, practices, trade-related techniques
* Familiarity with occupational hazards and safety precautions
* Strong skills in automobile repairs, car care, and related equipment
* Ability to plan, organize, and supervise the work of technicians and other workshop personnel

What We Offer
N200k per month salary package
