Retail Operations Director

The Retail Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the showroom, ensuring it operates efficiently and effectively. This role involves managing staff, inventory, and visual standards to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Sales Performance Management
- Drive showroom sales by meeting or exceeding sales targets through strategic marketing initiatives.
- Analyse sales reports and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to enhance revenue.
- Team Leadership
- Recruit, train, and supervise retail staff.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and high performance.
- Customer Experience
- Ensure a high level of customer service and satisfaction by training staff to engage with customers effectively.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations to resolve issues promptly.
- Develop and implement customer loyalty programs and promotions.
- Inventory Management
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure optimal stock and minimize excess.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for timely product delivery.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to manage product availability and reduce shrinkage.
- Visual Merchandising
- Maintain showroom displays to ensure an attractive and functional shopping environment.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to plan promotional events and product launches.
- Implement seasonal or special visual merchandising strategies to drive foot traffic and sales.
- Budget Management
- Assist in preparing and managing the showroom budget to achieve profitability.
- Monitor expenses and implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.
OND or Equivalent in Business Administration/Marketing required.
