Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our supermarket. This critical role is essential for ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining store standards, and leading a team of associates.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership: Supervise and motivate shop floor staff to deliver outstanding customer service. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training as needed.
  • Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring that the store is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers for restocking.
  • Customer Service: Address customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally. Ensure that all staff adhere to customer service standards.
  • Sales and Promotions: Implement sales strategies and promotional activities. Monitor sales performance and suggest improvements to drive sales.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Conduct regular audits to maintain store standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare reports on sales, inventory, and staff performance for management review. Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a retail or supermarket environment.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

Bonus structure based on performance.
