We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join our dynamic project team at GVA Partners Limited. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in security specialization, with a strong background in application security infrastructure and various network technologies.

About the Role

As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for leading cybersecurity initiatives, designing and implementing security controls, and driving internal and external vulnerability assessments. You will also participate in developing and planning advanced IT systems, maintain IT system workflows, and contribute to the development of IT networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with stakeholders on operational implementation of security policies and best practices.
  • Implement the infrastructure, configurations, and processes to monitor security-related events.
  • Prevent data loss and service interruptions by researching new technologies that effectively protect the enterprise network.
  • Collaborate with other members of the cybersecurity team to develop new protocols, layers of protection, and other proactive and defensive systems.
Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities
  • Ensure conformance to the Cybersecurity Blueprint/Roadmap.
  • Provide inputs to the company strategic plan on all initiatives to ensure that security gaps/vulnerabilities are identified and closed.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in an area of security specialization.
  • Experience working in a large organization, preferably in the telecommunications industry.
  • Strong background as an Engineer/Architect in application security infrastructure and various network technologies.
