Job Summary:
The Corporate Sales Manager will be responsible for generating sales from corporate clients, including schools, churches, companies, and other organizations. The role involves lead generation, client relationship management, and closing high-value contracts for recurring printing and event needs. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to build long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and target potential corporate clients (schools, churches, companies, event planners, etc.) within Lagos and surrounding areas.
- Use multiple channels (cold calling, emails, networking, social media) to generate new leads and opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a pipeline of high-quality leads.
- Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and recommend customized print and event solutions that meet their requirements.
- Schedule and attend meetings (phone calls, virtual, or in-person) to pitch services and negotiate deals.
- Develop sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Create and deliver compelling proposals, quotations, and presentations to corporate clients.
- Close sales and secure long-term contracts for recurring print and event services.
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, new business opportunities, and competitive insights.
- Stay informed on new printing technologies, event services, and products to offer innovative solutions to clients.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities, client interactions, and follow-ups.
- Provide regular reports on sales progress, forecasting, and outcomes to management.
- Monitor sales KPIs and adjust strategies as needed to achieve sales goals.
- Work closely with the design team to ensure that client expectations are met in terms of quality, timelines, and specifications.
- Coordinate with printing vendors to ensure accurate and timely delivery of services.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably in a related industry (print, events, advertising, or services).
- Strong understanding of the corporate sector, including schools, churches, and business environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients.
- Self-motivated with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).
- A degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with print & event services or creative industries (design, branding) is a plus.
- A strong network in Lagos or experience working with corporate clients in the region is an advantage.
- Familiarity with social media and digital marketing for lead generation.
