**Job Description:

Business Development Intern

Fully Remote

6 months (with possible absorption into Junior Business Development Executive role).

Stipend/Communication allowance: ₦10,000.**

Role Purpose

To provide hands-on experience in business acquisition, client relationship management, and market development, while supporting Business Development Executives in expanding the client base through direct-to-customer marketing and B2B partnerships.

Key Responsibilities


• Assist in lead generation (researching potential clients, compiling contact lists, initiating outreach).


• Support in scheduling and preparing for client meetings and pitches.


• Maintain and update CRM records with leads, client interactions, and pipeline progress.


• Participate in direct marketing campaigns (digital outreach, event activations, campus/market drives).


• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, and partnership opportunities.


• Assist in preparing presentations, proposals, and marketing materials.


• Shadow senior BDEs to learn client engagement and closing techniques.


• Provide follow-up support to ensure client satisfaction after initial contact.

Requirements


• Recent graduate or student in business, marketing, economics, communications, or related field.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Interest in fashion, creative industries, or luxury services.


• Proficiency with MS Office/Google Suite; familiarity with CRM tools is an advantage.


• Self-driven, target-oriented, and eager to learn sales skills.

Duration


• 6 months (with possible absorption into Junior Business Development Executive role).

Compensation & Perks


• Communication allowance ₦10,000.

• Certificate of Completion + priority consideration for full-time employment.

Intern Deliverables


• Monthly: Generate 500 new qualified leads, log all in CRM.


• Quarterly: Support in converting at least 10% of total period leads .


• Provide at least 1 market research report per month (competitors, trends, pricing, opportunities).


• Maintain 100% accuracy in CRM data entry and reporting.
