As part of our growth, we are seeking a
highly skilled, visionary, and financially astute Investment & Business Development Manager

will serve as Afrihood's strategic lead in securing capital, developing investment products, managing investor relationships, and driving sales growth across our real estate and infrastructure projects.

This position requires a unique blend of

Key Responsibilities
1. Fundraising, Investment Strategy & Investor Relations

  • Negotiate and structure investment agreements to ensure favorable outcomes for both Afrihood and investors, maintaining transparency and ethical standards.
  • Serve as a liaison between investors and project delivery teams to align funding with project milestones.

2. Financial Products & Sales

  • Develop, market, and sell investment instruments such as Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), bonds, equity stakes, and structured financial vehicles.
  • Create tailored investment solutions that align with investors' financial objectives and Afrihood's mission of transformative community development.
  • Craft compelling, data-backed sales materials and presentations for diverse investor audiences, including local and international funds.

3. Sales, Marketing & Business Development

  • Design and execute marketing and sales strategies for Afrihood's real estate and investment products.
  • Generate, nurture, and convert leads into committed clients and investors through effective outreach, storytelling, and brand positioning.
  • Manage the full client acquisition cycle—from engagement and negotiation to deal closure and onboarding.
  • Represent Afrihood across media platforms, events, and investor forums as a credible, engaging brand ambassador.
  • Oversee marketing communications, campaigns, and engagement metrics to support sales performance.

4. Investment Management & Portfolio Oversight

  • Identify and evaluate high-potential real estate and infrastructure investments through in-depth research and analysis.
  • Conduct due diligence on prospective investments, assessing market trends, financial statements, and risk factors.
  • Manage Afrihood's investment portfolio to optimize asset allocation, diversification, and long-term returns.
  • Develop and implement exit strategies (e.g., property sales, partnerships, or listings) to maximize investor value.

5. Market Research & Competitive Intelligence

  • Conduct regular market and competitor analyses to uncover emerging trends and new opportunities.
  • Use data-driven insights to shape Afrihood's product development, pricing models, and expansion strategies.
  • Identify potential partnerships and investor segments that align with Afrihood's strategic goals.

6. Compliance, Risk & Governance

  • Ensure all fundraising, sales, and investment activities comply with regulations set by the SEC, NSE, and other relevant authorities.
  • Monitor real estate and financial compliance requirements, zoning laws, and environmental standards to safeguard Afrihood's integrity.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks related to market volatility, project execution, or regulatory changes.

Requirements
