Urgent Vacancy: COREN Certified Civil Engineer

We are a reputable construction company based in Lekki, Lagos, seeking a highly qualified and experienced COREN Certified Civil Engineer to join our team immediately. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to contribute to high-impact projects.

Key Requirements and Qualifications

* Certification: Must be COREN Certified (Council for the

* Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria).

Experience: A minimum of 6 years post-NYSC working experience in civil/structural engineering.

* Project History: Proven, hands-on experience working on high-rise building projects (5 stories and above) is mandatory.

* Location: Ideal candidates should reside on the Lagos Island or be willing to comfortably commute to Lekki.

Core Job Functions

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

* Site Supervision & Management: Overseeing and managing all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.

* Structural Analysis & Design Implementation: Interpreting and implementing structural drawings and specifications, ensuring the integrity and stability of high-rise structures.

* Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections and tests on materials and work performed to ensure the highest standards of quality are maintained.

* Project Planning & Scheduling: Assisting in the development and monitoring of project schedules and timelines to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

* Cost Estimation & Resource Management: Monitoring project expenditures, managing resources (manpower, equipment, materials), and reporting on budget adherence.

* Team Coordination: Collaborating effectively with architects, M&E engineers, contractors, and project managers.

* Health & Safety: Enforcing and maintaining strict adherence to company and regulatory health, safety, and environmental standards on-site.

Compensation

Salary: ₦500,000 net monthly.

* Performance Increment: A salary review and increment will be implemented upon proven impressive performance.
