Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Ticket Agent located in Lagos. The Ticket Agent will be responsible for managing ticket sales, handling customer reservations, providing excellent customer service, and processing tickets efficiently. Daily tasks include assisting customers with their queries, making reservations, ensuring smooth and accurate ticket transactions, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of ticketing policies and procedures. Ticketing Agent
to manage ticket sales and guest entry operations at our beach. The ideal candidate will ensure a smooth and efficient experience for all visitors — from ticket purchase to entry — while maintaining excellent customer service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Sell and issue tickets to guests at entry points, ensuring accurate cash and electronic transactions.
  • Welcome guests warmly and provide information about entry fees, activities, and available facilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily ticket sales, payments, and visitor counts.
  • Verify tickets at entry gates and prevent unauthorized access.
  • Reconcile daily cash and electronic payments, prepare reports, and submit to the finance or admin department.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback courteously and professionally.
  • Assist in coordinating group bookings, special events, and promotions.
  • Work closely with security and customer service teams to ensure efficient guest flow and safety.
  • Ensure the ticketing area is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
  • Adhere to company policies and maintain confidentiality of financial transactions.

Requirements

  • OND / HND / Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in ticketing, front-desk, cashiering, or customer service (experience in a hospitality or recreation setting is an advantage).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems, ticketing software, or basic computer applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle cash accurately.
  • Customer-oriented attitude with a cheerful and professional demeanor.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak hours.
