Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant based in Lagos. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. Daily tasks include monitoring transactions, controlling budgets, analyzing financial data, reconciling accounts, and supporting the organization with financial insights to aid decision-making. The Accountant will collaborate with the finance team to maintain the financial health and progress of the firm.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Financial Reporting, General Ledger Management, and Budgeting
  • Proficient experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Strong Analytical Skills, Financial Planning, and Problem-Solving Abilities
  • Experience with Accounting Software, Bookkeeping, and Tax Compliance
  • Attention to detail, a high level of organization, and time management skills
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial insights effectively
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as ICAN or ACCA are highly desirable
  • Previous experience in financial roles within relevant industries is a plus
