Position: Head of Strategy & Product Development

Job Summary

We are seeking an innovative and results-driven professional to lead our Strategy and Product Development functions. The ideal candidate must possess a solid understanding of microfinance banking operations, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks. This individual will drive strategic initiatives, oversee product innovation, and ensure the bank maintains a competitive edge in delivering customer-focused financial solutions.

Key Requirements:

· B.Sc. in Banking & Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field

· Minimum of 5 years' experience in a management capacity within a Microfinance Bank

· Proven track record in strategic planning and product development

· Strong knowledge of CBN regulations and microfinance industry trends

· Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills

· Postgraduate degree or relevant professional certifications (added advantage)

Key Responsibilities

· Develop and implement strategic and business growth plans.

· Lead the design, review, and rollout of innovative financial products tailored to market needs.

· Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities and competitive positioning.

· Collaborate with business units to ensure effective product performance and profitability.

· Monitor regulatory developments and align strategies with CBN requirements.

· Provide strategic insights and recommendations to Management and the Board.

· Mentor and guide the strategy & product team to achieve set objectives.
