Job Summary
The Facility Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and management of all company-owned and managed properties. The role ensures that all facilities are safe, functional, cost-effective, and compliant with regulatory standards while maintaining a high level of tenant satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily facility operations including cleaning, security, landscaping, and general maintenance.
* Conduct regular inspections of properties to identify maintenance needs, safety issues, and compliance gaps.
* Manage preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, etc.).
* Source, negotiate, and manage service contracts with vendors and maintenance contractors.
* Monitor service quality and ensure timely completion of all facility-related projects.
* Approve and verify vendor invoices in line with company policies.
* Prepare and manage the annual facilities budget.
* Track expenses, optimize maintenance costs, and ensure cost-effectiveness in all facility operations.
* Provide regular financial and operational reports to management.
* Ensure all facilities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
* Implement and enforce workplace safety procedures and emergency response plans.
* Liaise with relevant authorities for permits, licenses, and inspections.
* Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants regarding facility issues or service requests.
* Ensure prompt resolution of tenant complaints and maintain high tenant satisfaction.
* Coordinate move-in and move-out inspections and documentation.
* Maintain accurate records of property assets, maintenance logs, and warranties.
* Develop and implement asset management systems for effective facility tracking.
* Support management in planning upgrades, renovations, and expansions.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Estate Management or a related field.
* Minimum of 3–5 years experience in facility or property management (real estate sector preferred).
* Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management software (e.g., CMMS).
* Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Remuneration: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
