Key responsibilities and requirements of a Customer Service Officer

Key Responsibilities.

  • Handling customer complaints and queries via phone, email, and in-person interactions

  • Providing accurate information about properties, services, and company policies

  • Managing customer relationships and ensuring excellent customer experience

  • Resolving issues promptly and efficiently

  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions

  • Collaborating with internal teams to address complex customer issues

  • Developing and implementing strategies to improve customer service

  • Building trust and loyalty with customers through proactive communication and empathy

  • Utilizing technology, such as CRM systems, to manage customer interactions and data

  • Providing feedback to management on customer needs and concerns

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree or HND in a related field (e.g., business, marketing, communications) preferred

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

  • Proficient in customer service software and technology (e.g., CRM systems)

  • Strong analytical and time management skills

Experience:

Previous customer service experience, preferably in the real estate or construction industry.
