Job Summary

Our client is seeking a proactive and competent
Operations Manager
to support daily plant operations and ensure smooth, efficient workflow across production and administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a solid engineering background and proven experience in managing factory operations, coordinating teams, and driving productivity improvements.

This is a
mid-level role
designed for a hands-on professional who can optimize processes, maintain operational standards, and support organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day factory operations to ensure efficient production, quality standards, and timely delivery.
  • Support the development and implementation of operational processes, systems, and best practices.
  • Coordinate activities across production, maintenance, logistics, and administrative units.
  • Assist in driving continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Monitor operational KPIs and provide actionable reports to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
  • Assist in managing operational budgets to maintain cost efficiency.
  • Support and supervise shift leaders and departmental supervisors to build effective team performance.
  • Collaborate with management to implement strategies that support operational growth and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
  • 4–6 years
    of relevant experience in operations, plant supervision, or production management (manufacturing environment preferred; paper industry experience is an added advantage).
  • Sound understanding of engineering systems and factory production processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in process improvement and operational coordination.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment.
