Salary: 250,000 Monthly Base + 3% Performance Commission
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Executive to lead strategic growth and partnership initiatives for our Specialist Oncology Hospital in Lekki.
The ideal candidate must possess a strong background in healthcare business development, deep understanding of the oncology landscape, and the ability to drive measurable revenue growth through client acquisition, partnerships, and patient engagement. This role demands strategic thinking, relationship management expertise, and a passion for advancing access to quality cancer care in Nigeria.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute actionable business growth strategies to achieve 70 million in monthly revenue and 50 new patients per month.
Drive at least 75 chemotherapy sessions monthly through effective patient engagement and referral partnerships.
Identify, negotiate, and maintain partnerships with HMOs, NGOs, corporate organizations, and government health programs.
Secure a minimum of 5 major partnership contracts per quarter and grow patient referrals by at least 20%.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and trends within the oncology and healthcare ecosystem.
Design and implement targeted B2B and B2C marketing campaigns to boost brand awareness and patient inflow.
Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and pitch decks to potential partners and clients.
Collaborate with internal teams to improve service delivery, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Track and report performance metrics, providing data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Support the development and promotion of new oncology-related services and innovations.
70 million monthly gross revenue from oncology and related services.
50 new paying patients per month with measurable retention growth.
75 chemotherapy sessions monthly through effective patient engagement.
10+ new strategic partnerships per quarter.
20% quarterly growth in patient referrals.
Timely achievement of quarterly business targets and submission of performance reports.
Proven success in business development or account management within the healthcare sector (experience in oncology or hospital services is an advantage).
Exceptional networking, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong strategic planning and execution abilities with measurable outcomes.
Analytical, data-driven, and target-focused mindset.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
High integrity, professionalism, and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
B.Sc./B.A. in Marketing, Business Administration, or Healthcare Management.
Minimum of 5 years proven experience in healthcare business development, preferably in oncology or specialized hospital settings.
Advanced knowledge of diagnostic, oncology, and patient referral systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and data analysis tools.
Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to engage confidently with C-suite executives, clinicians, and external partners.
250,000 monthly base salary + 3% performance-based commission.
