We are seeking a highly organized Patient Services Coordinator to join our hospital. The Patient Services Coordinator will be responsible for managing patient inquiries, scheduling appointments, coordinating referrals, and assisting in the overall patient experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be proficient in medical terminology, and have experience in a healthcare or customer service role.

The position will be based in Kano, Nigeria.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to patient inquiries via phone, email, or in-person
  • Schedule patient appointments and coordinate with medical staff to ensure availability
  • Coordinate referrals and ensure that patients receive the appropriate care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update patient information as necessary
  • Assist patients with insurance and billing questions or concerns
  • Ensure that patients are aware of any necessary pre-visit requirements or instructions
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure that patients receive high-quality care and excellent customer service
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient satisfaction programs

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of experience in a healthcare or customer service role
  • Proficient in medical terminology and knowledge of healthcare industry practices and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
