Remote Sales and Partnerships Executive

Eko 77 is an African food brand and restaurant specialising in high-quality, authentic Nigerian and West African dishes. As part of our growth strategy, we will supply frozen, ready-to-cook food portions (including soups, stews, proteins, and snacks in bulk) to African grocery stores, specialty retailers, wholesalers, caterers, and community-based distributors. We are expanding our retail presence across the UK and Europe and seeking a proactive Remote Sales & Partnerships Executive to lead and scale our B2B (Business to Business) sales pipeline.
The Remote Sales & Partnerships Executive will play a vital support role in driving business growth by assisting with B2B lead generation, outreach, partner onboarding, order coordination, and day-to-day account management. Working closely with the Remote Sales & Partnerships Manager, you will ensure that Eko 77's retail partners receive seamless support and that our sales pipeline remains active, organised, and well-nurtured.

Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Research and identify potential retail and wholesale stockists (African grocery stores, independent supermarkets, ethnic food retailers, wholesalers, caterers).
- Maintain target lists from online directories, social media, trade associations, and market mapping.
- Conduct initial outreach to prospects via email, phone calls, WhatsApp Business, and LinkedIn.
- Pre-qualify leads and prepare them for follow-up or conversion by the Sales & Partnerships Manager.
Sales Support & Coordination
- Assist the Sales & Partnerships Manager in preparing pitch materials, product information, pricing sheets, and introductory messages.
- Organise and schedule virtual meetings between prospects and the Manager.
- Support in sending follow-up messages, sample requests, and information packs after sales calls.
- Update CRM systems to track communication history, lead status, and next steps.
Partner Onboarding
- Support the onboarding process for new retail partners by ensuring all required documentation, product guides, and order forms are shared promptly.
- Assist in coordinating first orders with the operations and logistics teams.
- Ensure new partners receive marketing materials (product catalogues, imagery, updated price lists).
Order Management & Operations Liaison
- Coordinate order details with internal teams to ensure accuracy and timely fulfilment.
- Track order progress and communicate delivery timelines to partners.
- Help resolve basic customer service inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
Relationship Management
- Serve as a day-to-day point of contact for small to mid-level retail partners.
- Check in regularly with stores to gather feedback, encourage reorders, and identify opportunities for increasing product ranges.
- Maintain partner satisfaction through responsive communication and reliable follow-through.
Reporting & Administration
- Keep the sales pipeline updated and well-organised on CRM and spreadsheets.
- Generate weekly reports on outreach activity, partner feedback, and sales progress.
- Provide market insights and competitor observations to support strategic decision-making.
