JOB TITLE: Account Assistant

JOB LOCATION: Ikeja, Lagos



ADVERTISEMENT

JOB DETAILS:

  • Ensure that the financial transactions of the Company are accurately captured, classified and posted with relevant approvals and coding instructions
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly Management Accounts
  • Assist in the timely completion of Statutory Accounts
  • Ensure review of ledgers, other books of entries and ensure relevant reconciliations
  • Ensure confidentiality and safekeeping of accounting records and documents
  • Adhere to financial and accounting control procedures of the Company
  • Carry out monthly Tax Returns (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax etc.)
  • Any other duties as instructed by the Head of Accounts.

Education and Requirements

  • Higher National Diploma in Accounting or related disciplines
  • 1 – 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of applicable tax laws, codes and regulations in the industry
  • Working knowledge and experience of an accounting software / ERP
  • Good Management and Financial Reporting skills.
