Role Objective

To efficiently operate and maintain the Direct Injection (DI) Automatic Printing Machine, ensuring consistent high-quality print output for paper cup production. The role requires hands-on technical ability in offset printing, machine calibration, and process troubleshooting within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and manage the DI automatic printing machine for large-scale paper cup production.
  • Set up, calibrate, and maintain print quality — including colour registration, ink balance, and alignment.
  • Perform routine maintenance and report any faults promptly to minimize machine downtime.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation issues as they arise.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality control standards.
  • Collaborate closely with QC, Maintenance, and Production teams to meet customer specifications.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output, downtime, and maintenance activities.
  • Support training initiatives and knowledge transfer within the printing team.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience operating offset printing machines (experience on DI or automated systems preferred).
  • Diploma or Certificate in Printing Technology or related technical field.
  • Strong technical understanding of machine operations, including mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
  • Sound knowledge of inks, paper substrates, and colour management principles.
  • Detail-oriented, quality-conscious, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Willingness to learn and participate in continuous technical training.

Preferred Candidate Profile

  • Previous exposure to automated or DI printing environments.
  • Hands-on mechanical aptitude and safety awareness.
  • Open to candidates from print schools or technical institutes with strong practical orientation (training will be provided).
