Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Accountant role based in Lagos. The Accountant will oversee financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities will also involve tracking expenses, processing payroll, reconciling accounts, and generating financial reports to support strategic decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation
  • Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience with financial software and advanced Excel skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
  • Attention to detail and strong numerical aptitude
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for collaboration with various departments
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are a plus
  • Experience in the food and beverage or retail industry is an added advantage
