Job Summary

We are a reputable real estate and property development company seeking a highly organized and proactive Procurement Manager/Site Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee all material sourcing and procurement processes, manage supplier relationships, and ensure efficient site operations. The role requires ensuring timely supply of quality materials at competitive prices while maintaining project quality, safety, and schedule compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase construction materials, equipment, and services in line with project requirements and budget.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with reliable suppliers and contractors.
  • Track material usage and ensure timely replenishment to prevent project delays.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and cost-control procedures.
  • Maintain an updated database of approved vendors, quotations, and purchase orders.
  • Verify delivery notes and invoices before submission for payment.
  • Monitor market trends and recommend cost-effective alternatives for materials.

Site Supervision Functions

  • Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to project specifications.
  • Coordinate laborers, artisans, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery.
  • Maintain accurate site records including daily progress reports, attendance registers, and material usage logs.
  • Enforce health and safety standards on-site to ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Communicate daily with the project team to address site challenges and material requirements promptly.
  • Inspect all delivered materials to ensure they meet required standards and specifications.
  • Provide weekly progress reports on site and procurement activities to management.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: B.Sc. or HND in Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in procurement or site supervision within the real estate or construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, pricing, and vendor management.
  • Excellent negotiation, budgeting, and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple sites or projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
