Position Overview:

We are seeking a hands-on, customer-centric Operations Manager to oversee the daily running of the studio, ensure service excellence, manage customer experience, and maintain operational efficiency across all touchpoints

The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, maintaining the studio's high service standards, and supporting both staff and management in achieving operational and customer satisfaction goals.

This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced beauty environment, demonstrates leadership by example, and can balance people management with exceptional customer service and facility oversight.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Oversee daily studio operations, ensuring seamless workflow across all service areas.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the salon floor to observe service quality and engage clients directly.
  • Implement and enforce operational policies, schedules, and procedures to maintain consistency and efficiency.
  • Monitor appointment schedules, manage customer flow, and ensure minimal wait times.
  • Ensure product, tool, and inventory management is properly handled and restocked when necessary.
  • Coordinate with the People Operations and Finance teams for administrative and payroll processes as required
  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for customer concerns, ensuring prompt resolution and client satisfaction.
  • Oversee maintenance of tools, equipment, and infrastructure, promptly escalating technical or facility-related issues.
  • Conduct routine team meetings and training sessions to align on goals, address issues, and reinforce service excellence.
  • Track and report on operational performance, customer satisfaction, and staff productivity.
  • Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements for smoother daily operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in operations, preferably within the beauty, hospitality, or service industry.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor studio staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for tracking sales, customer metrics, and staff productivity.
  • Proficiency in salon or appointment management systems (e.g Fresha).
  • Ability to negotiate with vendors and track supplies to prevent stockouts or wastage.
  • Ability to generate and interpret reports to guide decision-making.
  • Comfortable using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Forms, Calendar) for documentation and coordination.
  • Understanding of facility operations, including power, cleaning, and safety compliance.
