  • The IT Support Engineer will provide technical assistance to users, maintain IT systems and infrastructure, and ensure prompt resolution of hardware, software, and network issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to users on hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents relating to operating systems, applications, and connectivity.
  • Install, configure and maintain computer systems, software, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure optimal functioning of IT infrastructure.
  • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level support where necessary.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, support activities and incident resolutions.
  • Perform routine system backups and recovery tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5 - 7 years of experience in IT Support or Technical Support role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with network setup, configuration and troubleshooting (LAN, WAN, VPN, Routers and Switches).
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues.
  • Hands-on experience with service management tools such as Jira, Zendesk or ServiceNow.
  • Basic knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft 365 administration and IT security best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.

Salary

N350,000 - N550,000 / Month.
